V1 Installation Guide
Step 1: END CAP INSTALLATION
- Verify your order to confirm the correct side for the motor before installing the corresponding end cap.
-
Refer to the illustrated instructions for proper mounting, whether for a ceiling or wall installation.
- Attach an end cap to each end of the housing using the three provided self-tapping screws.
Step 2: HOUSING INSTALLATION
- Use a drill with the appropriate bit size to pre-drill holes, considering the type of surface where the unit will be installed.
-
⚠️ : Drill holes through the cassette to accommodate the power cord, and use the grommet to protect the cable from damage.
- Position the back part of the housing at the desired location.
-
⚠️ :The position may vary depending on the desired location of the weight bar when fully open.
- Secure housing with the appropriate screws.
Step 3: MATERIAL ROLL INSTALLATION
- To make this step easier, use a sawhorse or any object to support the weight bar of the shade while you proceed with the installation.
- Manage the cable through the rubber grommet. Attach the motor head to the motor bracket and secure it using the provided clip.
- Insert the Idler into its bracket and secure it with the provided pin.
- Align the shade material so the Keder hangs over the edge of the outer tube.
- Confirm that the shade is centered, and secure it using the provided screws.
Step 4: Motor Programming
- Once the tube is secured in place, use the remote control to roll up the shade material.
Step 5: TRACK INSTALLATION
-
Measuring and Cutting Tracks:
- Measure the distance from the ground surface to the bottom of the cassette.
- Based on that measurement, cut the tracks to be 1/4” shorter.
- Important: Only cut from the bottom section of the track.
-
Carefully slide the wheel system into the tracks at a slight angle.
-
Ensure the wheels are correctly positioned and properly aligned with the track for smooth operation.
- Secure both tracks using the appropriate screws.
- Place one screw near the top and another near the bottom of each track, then space additional screws every 12 inches along the track.
- Use a rubber mallet to gently snap the track cover into place.
- Install the track stopper as shown in the illustration to prevent the wheel system from coming off the tracks.
Step 6: Tube Adjustment
- To adjust un-level material: Unroll the shade material until the leveling screws at the tube slider are visible.
- Loosen the screws and adjust the slider as needed.
Step 7: COVER INSTALLATION
- Install the front housing and secure it using the provided screws.
- Screw down until its flush with the end cap.
- ⚠️ : If the external cover screw holes are inaccessible, use the cover jig to assist in locating the internal cover screw holes.
⚠️ : If the cover jig tabs do not fit between the end of the cassette and the wall, break them off. Gently work the plastic tabs back and forth until they detach completely.
