Adjusting The End Limits

NOTE: Programming should not be inactive for more than 2 minutes, or the motor will exit programming mode. Feedback from the motor is given by a single “jog” or a series of “jogs” (quick up-and-down movements).

Adjusting the limits when the shade already has limits:

• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to send the shade to the limit you want to change.
• Hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously until the shade jogs once (up to 7 seconds).
• Use the UP and DOWN buttons to move the shade to the desired new position.
• Save the new limit by holding the STOP button until the shade jogs once.

NOTE: Limits can only be adjusted when the shade is at that limit. If not reachable, reset the motor completely.

For shades with no limits set:

• Initiate Programming: Press UP and DOWN simultaneously; the shade jogs.
• Check Direction: Press UP or DOWN. Change the direction if necessary by holding the STOP button until the shade jogs.
• Manual Adjustment:
  • Move the shade to the desired UPPER limit and press STOP + DOWN.
  • When the shade gets close to the LOWER limit, press STOP.
  • Move to the desired LOWER limit and press STOP + UP.
  • Press STOP to stop the shade.
  • Hold STOP until the shade jogs to validate settings.
  • Briefly press the programming button on the transmitter to finalize; the shade jogs.

Setting “Favorite/MY” Position (Intermediate Position)

• Move the shade to the desired position.
• Hold the STOP button until the shade jogs once.
• Favorite position is saved.

Modify/Delete Favorite Position:

• Modify: Move to the new position, then hold the STOP button until the shade jogs once
• Delete: Move to the favorite position, then hold STOP until the shade jogs once.

NOTE: Favorite positions cannot be set at or beyond upper/lower limits.

Troubleshooting

Observations	Possible Causes	Solutions
The shade does not operate.	Wiring is incorrect.	Check and modify wiring as needed.
	Cable non-compliant.	Verify 3-conductor cable and pin alignment.
	Remote battery low.	Replace battery.
	Remote incompatible.	Replace with a compatible remote.
	Remote unprogrammed.	Program the remote.
The shade stops too soon.	Ring/crown incorrectly set.	Adjust the ring/crown.
	End limits incorrect.	Reset the end limits.
