⚠️ : Troubleshooting Tip: If the LEDs are limited to white output and do not respond to color commands, manually cycle the output mode by pressing the physical button on the controller until the LEDs display red, green, or blue. Each press will advance the mode in the following sequence: Red → Green → Blue → White.
Once a valid color mode is selected, power cycle the controller by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply.
After the device reboots, refresh the Philips Hue application. The LED controller should now support full color functionality.
Connect to the LED Strip
⚠️ : Controller input voltage must be in accordance with the required voltage of LED strips. Input voltage = Output Voltage
Initial Setup
⚠️ : Ensure the Philips Hue Bridge is powered on and properly connected to the local Wi-Fi® network before initiating the pairing process with the LED IP Controller.
- Begin by connecting the LED Controller’s power supply to a functional electrical outlet.
- Open the Philips Hue application, tap the “...” icon in the upper-right corner, and select the “Add Lights” option.
- Press and hold the “SET” button on the IP Controller until the LED begins flashing purple. This indicates the device is now in Discovery Mode.
- Return to the Hue application and use the “Search” function to locate the device. This process may take several seconds. Once successfully connected, the LED will flash green.
- The LED IP Controller will appear in the Philips Hue app as “Extended Color light 1” and “Dimmable light 1.” Only use “Extended Color light 1” for control. Delete “Dimmable light 1” from the app.
- Once connected, the LED IP Controller can be renamed and used like any standard Hue lamp.
