Installation Guide
WARNING
The screen is slightly offset within the cassette. To account
for this, the case should be installed
offset 1” to the left.
Surface Mount Installation
Step 1: Position the Screen
- Place the projection screen flat on the cabinet.
- Leave at least 3/16” of room from the wall for the decorative door’s operation.
IMPORTANT
The screen may tip forward or back. If there is too much
tilt, maintain control of the case when performing the
next step.
Step 2: Level the Screen
- Fully extend the screen using the remote or local control button.
- Use the cassette leveling feet to adjust the projection screen tilt to the desired angle.
Wall Mount Installation
Step 1: Verify Clearance
- Measure the total length of the casing and verify there is sufficient clearance and no obstructions on the wall.
Step 2: Mark the Mounting Height
- Measure the height where the bottom of the projection screen will be placed and mark it on the wall.
- Note: Apply masking tape and make your marks on the tape.
Step 3: Determine Bracket Spacing
- Reference your screen size on the table below and use value “A” for the recommended distance between the two mounting brackets.
- Mark the bracket locations along the previously made reference line.
Step 4: Align the Brackets
- The top of the brackets should be mounted flush with the line representing the bottom of the screen case.
Step 5: Drill and Install Expansion Fixtures
- Drill 4 holes for each bracket on the wall and install an Expansion Fixture in each hole.
Step 6: Mount the Adjustable Brackets
- Place the Adjustable Brackets against the wall, aligning the mounting holes with the Expansion Fixtures.
- Tighten using the included 5x40 Tapping Screws.
Step 7: Hang and Position the Screen
- Adjust the T-slot bolt on the Adjustable Bracket so that it is parallel with the wall (see diagram).
- Place the projection screen on the Adjustable Brackets and adjust horizontally to the desired position.
- Tighten the T-slot bolt from under the Adjustable Brackets to lock in place.
NOTE
T-slot bolts are installed for front installation
by default. For reversed installation, move the T-slot
bolt to the Reverse Mounting Holes.
Step 8: Finalize and Level
- Connect to power and fully extend the projection screen.
- Observe for tilt; adjust using the Allen Key to the desired position to finish installation.
Decorative Door Anti-Pinch Function
TIP
The decorative door of this product is equipped with a flexible
door opening and closing device, which can protect hands
or objects from accidentally extending into the screen when
closing the door.
Controlling the Screen
The Short Throw Lift Motorized screen can be controlled by the following methods:
Manual Control
- The Manual Control Button is located on the power port side of the casing.
- Pressing the button will command the screen to extend; pressing again will stop the screen, then retract, then stop — in sequence.
12V Trigger
- Connect the 12V Trigger Port and the 12V port with a 12V trigger cable.
- The projection screen is then synchronized with the projector — when the projector is powered on, the screen will automatically extend to the set position; when the projector is powered off, the screen will retract.
Infrared Remote
- The IR Remote is required to set the upper limit and for wireless operation of the screen.
