Control 4 Software Setup
- Create the project and add the Control4 processor.

Turn on the Zigbee server for Control 4 Zigbee connectivity.

Create the necessary Zigbee configuration as seen from the following images:
- Here, the Zigbee connection shows it is running properly.

- To add the driver, first search the driver, “Somfy Control4 to Digital Motor Interface,” then add it to the project.
- With the driver added, navigate to the “Connections” section, select the “Network” tab, and select the “ZigBee Network” option in the top left-hand column.
- Select the Zigbee Mesh Network from the device using the drop-down at the bottom of the screen.

Connect the Control4 Zigbee interface to the motor.

Press and hold the button on the unit for five (5) seconds.
- This will put the unit into “Pairing Mode.”
- In the Composer software, click to highlight and add the Control4 Zigbee driver, then click the “Identify” button.

Press and hold the button on the unit for five (5) seconds.
- Wait for the Control4 Zigbee interface to pair with the Control4 Zigbee mesh.
- The device is now paired with the Control4 Zigbee network.
- In the “Driver Information” section, the added driver will show the communicating status of the device; double-click the Driver in the left-hand column to test the newly paired device.

Upon powering up, the RIGHT LED flashes ORANGE to indicate the firmware version:

Inclusion Mode (Zigbee Pairing)

After startup, the RIGHT LED will slowly flash ORANGE, indicating the device is in Zigbee inclusion mode.

If the LED is not flashing, inclusion was unsuccessful. Retry the pairing process.
LED Indicator Overview

Disconnecting from Zigbee Network

Preferred Method:
Use your Control4 interface to issue a disconnect command. -
Manual Method:
Press and hold the SETUP button for 7 seconds.
The RIGHT LED will begin flashing ORANGE, indicating successful disconnection.
Power Loss Behavior

If the Control4 Zigbee module loses power, the motor must be rediscovered.

When paired with Janus or other high-capacity power supplies, the system retains device discovery, enabling consistent reconnection.

Note: The Control4 Zigbee Interface defaults to Inclusion Mode when first powered on.
Removing from Zigbee Network

When the RIGHT LED stops flashing, the device has been successfully removed from the network
