Assembling a Standard Frame (Posts)
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Ensure the build area is clean and free of debris.
It is strongly recommended to use a clean drop cloth or similar surface to protect the frame and material during assembly.
Step 2: Identify Frame Sections
Frames are labeled to help with identification.
The lower horizontal frame can be identified by the hole for LED cable routing.
⚠️ Important: This hole must face down if you ordered the optional LED kit.
Place the frame pieces face down on the drop cloth.
Step 3: Insert Corner Brackets
Insert both thin and thick corner brackets into the ends of the frame pieces, as shown in the diagram.
Thin brackets go in the channel closest to the outer edge of the frame. Thick brackets go in the inner channel.
Make sure each bracket is fully seated.
Step 4: Align Frame Corners
Position frame corners so they are flush and form a 90-degree angle.
Loosely tighten one set screw on each side of the corner joint.
Step 5: Square the Frame
Measure both diagonals (A and B) of the assembled frame.
The diagonals should be equal or within 1/8" of each other. If the frame is not square, push from the longer diagonal until both diagonals match.
Once square, fully tighten all corner screws.

Step 1: Prepare for Zigbee Integration (If Applicable)
If you selected the IP (Zigbee) LED controller, a Philips Hue Hub is required for integration.
⚠️ Important: Set up the Hue Hub before powering the LEDs. If the IP LED controller is added after the screen is installed, the controller must be forced into pairing mode — which requires removing the screen from the wall.
Step 2: Mount the LED Controller
Locate the pre-installed nuts inside the frame.
Use the included screws to attach the LED controller securely to the frame.
Feed the controller wires through the hole in the frame section.
Plug the LED strips into the controller.
Step 3: Install the LED Light Strips
⚠️ Use caution: Do not kink or fold the light strip, which will damage the circuit. Use the provided foam strips to loosely wrap LEDs around the corners.
Peel off the adhesive backing from the strips.
Carefully press the LED strips into the LED channel on the frame.
When rounding corners: Use LED foam padding to protect the circuit. The LED strip should make a gentle curve — do not sharply bend the strip.
Step 4: Cut the LED Strips to Length
Cut the LED strips only at the copper pad labeled “CUT HERE.”
Cut to the appropriate length so that the strips just overlap at the center of the top frame piece.
⚠️ Do NOT cut the LED strips at any other point or the circuit may be damaged.

Assembling a Split Frame (Screens above 120")
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Ensure the build area is clean and free of debris.
We recommend using a clean drop cloth or similar surface to protect frame components during assembly.
Step 2: Identify Frame Sections
All frames are labeled for easy identification.
The lower horizontal frame has a hole for LED cable routing.
⚠️ Important: If you ordered the optional LED kit, this hole must face down.
Place the frame pieces face down on the drop cloth.
Step 3: Assemble the Horizontal Frame (Split Sections)
Begin with the horizontal frame pieces before adding the verticals.
Insert the large splice plate into one horizontal half. Loosely install two countersunk screws through the front face of the frame into the splice plate.
Slide the thin and thick splice bars into the frame channel. Join the second half of the horizontal frame.
Make sure both halves are aligned, then fully install the remaining countersunk screws from the front.
Step 4: Secure the Splice from the Back
From the back of the frame, position the remaining splice bars so there are two set screws on either side of the splice.
Tighten all set screws to lock the splice bars in place.
Step 5: Insert Corner Brackets
Insert thin and thick corner brackets into each corner of the frame. Both have the same profile, but the thin bracket is used in the channel closest to the outer frame edge.
The thick bracket fits in the inner channel.
Step 6: Align Frame Corners
Adjust frame corners to be flush and 90 degrees. Loosely tighten one set screw per side at each corner joint.
Step 7: Square the Frame
Measure diagonal distances (A and B). The frame is square when both diagonals are equal or within 1/8". If needed, push from the longer diagonal to correct.
Once square, fully tighten all set screws at each corner.
Step 8: Install the Vertical Support Bar
Align the channel plates so they’re roughly centered on the frame. Loosely install the vertical support bar onto the plates.
Adjust placement to ensure it is square by measuring from the top and bottom of the vertical bar to the same vertical frame.
Once square, fully tighten the screws.
📝 Note: The vertical support bar can be installed off-center to accommodate a center channel speaker or electrical outlet, especially when using an LED kit.

Post System Attachment – All Materials
Step 1: Prepare the Work Area
Police the area to remove any hardware, tools, or debris.
Lay out the included foam sheeting to protect the screen surface during assembly.
⚠️ Gloves must be worn at all times when handling the screen material to prevent damage or marring.
Step 2: Unroll the Material
Carefully unroll the screen material onto the foam sheeting, with the viewing side down.
You can identify the back of the screen by a slight shine where it connects to the black tensioning media.
Step 3: Prep the Black Backer (For AT Materials)
Place the black backer centered over the screen material.
Make sure the corner pockets are facing up.
Step 4: Position the Frame
At least two people are required for this step. For larger frames, additional help is strongly recommended.
Center the frame on top of the screen material.
Keep the frame flat against the material to avoid puncturing the optic with the corners.
⚠️ AT MATERIAL ONLY: Fit the corner pockets of the backer into the corners of the frame. (like a fitted bed sheet)
Verify that the frame is still centered after positioning.
Step 5: Attach the Material
Remove and discard all post retention bumpers from the frame
⚠️ Newer screens will have the posts in the hardware box, use this table for the number of posts per side based on Aspect and Size.
Distribute the posts evenly along the frame, aligning them with the holes in the black tensioning media.
Refer to the Material Attachment Sequence Diagram for the correct order.
Begin attaching the material by slipping each hole in the black tensioning media over the corresponding post.
Trim Attachment – Snap & Posts Attachment System
Step 1: Install the Trim (All Frame Types)
Trim is installed after the material has been attached, with the screen still facing down.
Start by attaching the vertical trim pieces to the frame.
Insert the 4 corner brackets into the horizontal trim pieces.
Align the horizontal trim so the corner posts slide into the vertical trim ends.
📝 Note (Split Frame Only):
Before installing horizontal trim on split frames, splice them together using the included trim splice bars.
Step 2: Secure the Corners
While holding each corner flush, tighten the set screws to lock the trim together.
Install two (2) ¼-20 x ¼” trim screws per corner.
Check and confirm that all corners are flush and aligned.
Step 3: Join Horizontal Trim (Split Frame Only)
At the center splice, use four (4) ¼-20 x ¼” screws to secure the horizontal trim to the splice bar.
Wall Mount Installation – Retention, Split, or Standard Frame Systems
Step 1: Install the Mounting Brackets
⚠️ ONLY 2 BRACKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SIZE SCREENS
Mount the brackets to the wall between 6 inches and 1/3 the width of the screen from both the left and right edges. This spacing provides proper weight distribution and support.
Step 2: Prepare for LED Power (If Applicable)
If an LED kit is installed: Carefully pull the bottom of the screen away from the wall to access the power plug.
Manage cables carefully — ensure the electrical cable does not contact the back of the screen.
Step 3: Mount the Screen
With two or more people, lift the screen and carefully mount it onto the installed wall brackets.
Confirm the screen is level and secure to complete the installation.
Flown Kit Ceiling Mount – Installation Instructions
Step 1: Determine Mounting Locations
Install the ceiling mounts between 6 inches and 1/3 the width of the screen from the left and right edges.
Ensure the screen will hang centered and balanced in the intended space.
Step 2: Anchor the Ceiling Mounts
Once placement is confirmed, anchor each ceiling mount into a joist, beam, or similar structural support.
⚠️ Note: Always drill into a structural element that can safely support the full weight of the screen.
Step 3: Feed the Suspension Cables
Feed the cable through the Griplock mechanism, leaving enough slack to reach the channel nuts in the upper frame of the screen.
Attach the Griplock assembly securely to the frame.
Step 4: Adjust Height and Leveling
Pull the suspension cable through the Griplock to raise the screen to the desired height.
To lower the screen, slightly lift the screen to relieve tension, then press the Griplock release button to let the cable slide down.
Make fine adjustments to level the screen side to side.
